Magazine design for Winchester Life, a failed publication I "worked" for in 2006.
The magazine was published by Ramon Williamson, a motivational speaker and "entrepreneur."

The issue was just about finished, all the ads were placed and paid for and the magazine was about to go to press when RW skipped out without paying me or the other staff for the work.

Additionally, advertisers called me and screamed at me that I owed them a refund. However, I was not RW's partner, just another freelancer taken advantage of.

Word to the wise: If you contract for freelance work, get half up front, get a contract.
