Rolling Billboard

I worked at a printshop years ago. The owner made me an offer: He'd pay to get my car painted, pay me $10/month, have a billboard made with my pciture on it if I would advertise Intracoastal Printing on my 1967 VW Baja Bug. Cool! I became a celebrity in Fort Pierce, Florida, as the "guy in the clown-colored VW, dude." Gnarly. My car and I were featured on the cover of Quick Printing magazine, which only added to my fame. It was my Andy Warhol moment.

I worked for Intracoastal Printing in Fort Pierce/Port St. Lucie, Florida in my early years. I drove a 1967 VW Baja Bug. The owner had it painted, paid me $10/month, and I drove around town becoming quite a celebrity. I had my own billboard and got mentioned on local radio 95.5 WOVV). I was one groovy dude, man.
